When I first entered the field of massage therapy, I knew I wanted a career centred around helping people. What I didn't anticipate was just how much the people I would meet along the way would give back to me.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of building a practice that has become much more than a place to receive treatment. It's become a community of people from all walks of life, each with their own experiences, challenges, and goals. The relationships, conversations, and trust we've built are what make me genuinely love coming to work every day.

In 2024, our community grew when Matt Sandeson, RMT, joined the practice. His genuine care for his clients, thoughtful approach to treatment, and shared values made him a natural fit.

Alongside my clinical work, I've spent much of my career working at ice level in competitive hockey. My passion for athlete care and development, combined with our desire to offer more comprehensive services, inspired the evolution of our practice into MODE Performance + Health.

With the addition of Holden Kodak, we've expanded into hockey performance analysis and athletic performance testing, bringing new opportunities for athletes to better understand and develop their performance.

But while our services have evolved, the heart of our practice hasn't changed.

MODE is, and always will be, a place for everybody. Whether you're an athlete, recovering from an injury, managing pain, or simply looking to feel better, you belong here.

My hope is to continue building a space where people feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. Where we never stop learning, and where we always remember the person behind the appointment.

Because to us, you're a person first, and a patient or athlete second.

I'm incredibly grateful for the community that has brought us this far, and excited for everything still to come.
